Marshfield Area Respite Care Center

RespiteA 95 year old female, was residing with an adult child when it became a more difficult responsibility than she could handle.  The first step was to enroll her mother in the Marshfield Area Respite Care Center until other living accommodations with another family could be made.  This gave the current caregiver relief while another prepared to transfer care.  The new household was very interested in having their 95 year old mother attend more frequently and engage the senior with memory impairment in some meaningful activities to stimulate her and also tire her so she would sleep well at night.  She has attends 5 days per week and the program has proved successful for her and her family.
